The Summer Learning Journey

Hey Bloggers! Today I am on the Summer Learning Journey. The Summer Learning Journey is a challenge that you can do during the summer instead of just sitting around and doing nothing. 

One of the activities we are doing today, we had 10 groups of facts to read. Each of the facts were based on different countries. Once we had read them all we had to choose which country we would visit.

"Japan"

I would like to visit Japan because I would like to see Sumo wrestling and also because Japan has lovely flowers around the country to search for. Like the Cherry blossom. 

Here are some facts about Japan:

1. There are over 50, 000 people of 100 years old in Japan
2. There are over 70 flavours of Fanta in Japan
3. There are over 20 ways to say sorry in Japan
4. The city of Edo formally changed its name to Tokyo which means "Eastern Capital"
5. There is a hotel in Japan that is staffed by robots. The check-in desk is an animatronic velociraptor
