This week we are working on using descriptive language by sharing our writing straight onto our blog. The challenge we have is to describe a place using only six sentences. After reading the description you need to guess the place that has been described. It would really help if you say what clues helped you come to this conclusion
1. Beautiful sparkly, clear water, that tempt me into diving in.
2. Wonderful animals like dolphins playing joyfully together.
3. Kids and adults dancing to the music playing.
4. In the Pacific enjoying each others company together.
5. Weddings and performances going on with fab skirts, dresses and patterned fabric in many sizes.
6. Love this island of ocean blue seas and clear blue skies.

ReplyDeleteI think that getting to describe something in six sentences for someone to guess is a really cool thing to be able to be doing in class.
If you were to do this again it would help if you added what the weather is like. But apart from that I really liked the post especially the part where you were saying that the water was sparkly and clear.
My answer is Samoa or Fiji.
If you could choose to go on holiday anywhere in the world, where would you go?
