This Is Me

Hey bloggers!!! Today I am blogging on Waikowhai Intermediate's Production. It was called 'This Is Me'. The Senior Syndicate went on Tuesday 25th September 2018. It was awesome. We travelled by bus. The Intermediate Kindly payed for it. We were there from 11:45am to 2:00pm. There were many different acts there. There were 19th Harmony, Hip Hop (Girls and Boys), Wai-Tune (Choir) and there was people or students that spoke. One of them was Izzy, Izzy came to our school last year. She is year 7. 

One of the people that spoke was Love-Day. She had something wrong with her feet. Love-Day couldn't stand flat on the ground, she is always on her tippy toes. Her parents took her to the doctors to see what was wrong when she was 8 years old. They did a lot of things to try and fix it. The therapist one day asked Love-Day. "You do want your feet to be normal, right?" She was like, "To be honest, not really." She has been like that ever since. She is not a shame because, that is HER!!! Not anyone else.

In the audience was lots of schools. May Road, Marshall Liang, Hillsborough and more. They finished at around 1:55pm. We were very sad to leave. We arrived back at school at 2:10pm. When we got back, we had to do a reflection on the Production. We used the deBONO Thinking Hats.

The production was talking about being your true self. Not just changing for others because that is your true self.

Super Netball News

Netball

Kia Orana Bloggers!!! Today I am blogging on Saturday Netball. Our school entered 2 teams for Netball. Team A and Team B. I was in A, we made a name ourselves. We called ourselves "The Thunder!!!" 

On Friday the 14th of September we had our school Prize Giving during Assembly. I got a certificate for Participating in Saturday Netball and Netball Zones. After that 3 extra awards for A team and B team. The 3 awards were MVP, Sportsmanship and Most Improved. I got MVP and my friends Amaya and Brooklyn got the other two. 

On Saturday 15th of September 2018 we had the prize giving for the whole thing. We came second. Here are some photos!!!

Netiqette

Kia Ora Bloggers!!! Today I am blogging on Netiquette. We were given a task to complete slides for Cyber-smart. On the slides were questions about Netiquette. Netiquette is like etiquette except online.

Once we had completed it we had to create a Mind Mup. There is some videos about Netiquette at the start that you can watch.

Writing

Hey Bloggers!!! Today I am blogging on Writing!!! This week for writing we did words instead of said. We had to think of words to use instead of said. You had to think of some and if you ran out of ideas you go to the online Thesaurus. Once we finished we had to add it on to or Literacy Tumble for this week. 

Literacy Tumble is a mix of Reading and Writing. We have it in one block everyday except Friday. If you haven't finished the MUST DO'S by Friday, you have to finish it off during the Technology Session
