Pink Shirt Day

Oat The Goat
Last week we had "Pink Shirt Day" on Friday. It went all across the country. At Waikowhai Primary School, everyone wore pink to school, or some kind of pink. The things that I wore some pink jeans, a Warriors Jersey and a jacket with pink on it.
On Wednesday we watched Oat the Goat on our Chromebooks. It was like a pick a path. During the story, it would ask us to pick a card. On the cards it had choices on it, we clicked on one and then it would play. Here is the link,
It related to Pink Shirt Day. You could either chose it to read it in Maori or in English. You could also choose to get it to read to you, you to read or just to watch. Maybe you could give it a try and see which is the best path to take.
Here is my thinking hats, each has some writing underneath. I hope you enjoy my work and the photo!!!

I hope you enjoyed looking at my work. I really hope that bullying stops. Bullying is "Never OK!!!" I hope you also enjoyed Oat the Goat. I hope that you chose the right path. Please feel free to leave a comment or some feedback for me.
I can't wait to see some of your work. Catch Ya Later Bloggers!!!

Mr Riceman was our teacher. He also showed us something else. It is called "Word Art," but I will tell you about that on a different post!!!
I hope you enjoy my work!!!

Look What We've been up to!!!

Des Hunt Visited Our School
Hello bloggers!!! Today this blog is on Des Hunt!!!! Des Hunt came to visit our school, it was only for the Seniors and Middle school. He was great, he showed us Chemistry and Physics. It was fun. The experiments he showed us were metaphors for writing stories.
There was these 2 that gave many students a fright. It was the one where he blasted this mini container towards the crowd!!! The other one was when he was using a automatic machine to blow a balloon up. It kept filling with air until it went... BOOM!!! Blew up just like that. Out came a scream!!!!
It gave me a huge fright. I still enjoyed it though!!! I hope you enjoy watching the videos and have a look at the photos!!!! Have a look down below!!!!

Anzac

Hey bloggers!!! Today I'm blogging about Anzac. One Wednesday last week was the 25th of April, Anzac Day. Anzac is a very important day, on that day we celebrate the soldiers who risked their lives just to save our country, because of them New Zealand is free. Soldiers were wounded and hurt. Some were sad leaving Gallipoli because friends might have died there saving our country. Thank you soldiers!!!
Here are photos of the crosses we have at school. Have a look!!!

I hope you enjoyed having a look at the photos. I thank the soldiers for what they have done for us. Please give thanks to them. Thank you for having a look at my blog. Soldiers risked their families just to save our country that is now free from war. Rest in Peace soldiers.
