Our Auckland Zoo Trip

Auckland Zoo
Aloha Bloggers!!! Today I am blogging on our Auckland Zoo Trip. On the 14th June. We went as a trip for Inquiry. Our Inquiry is on Animals that are endangered and native to New Zealand this term. We were there from around 10:15am to 2:30pm.  I really enjoyed it.  We got to see lots of animals. There were no Chimpanzees or Lions. The 2 last lions were put down, their names are Kura and Amira. The chimps were in Christchurch because they were building them a new enclosure.
We got to see 3 keas. We also got to see some Kereru, Baboons, Tuatara, Geckos, Kiwis, Lizards and many other animals. Here are some photos and videos of the day!!!

I really enjoyed the trip. I am sad we didn't get to see lions and chimps though. My favourite animal that I did see though would have to be the Meerkat. It was quick and slick. They slipped through holes easily, they also looked so cute!!!
I hope you enjoyed the photos and videos. Please feel free to leave a comment or some feedback for me!

Tiritiri Maitangi

Aloha Bloggers!!! Today I am blogging about the seniors amazing trip to... "Tiritiri Matangi" It was really fun. We got to see birds that you wouldn't see in Auckland like... The Kakariki, Quail,  Stitch-bird, Kereru (Wood Pigeon), Bellbird, Brown Teal, Red Crowned Parakeet, North Island Saddleback, Kaka, Rifleman bird, Silvereye and a Oystercatcher. We also saw some other birds like Tui and Fantail, but you would see most of those here.
We also saw a..."Takahe" It was my favourite bird out of all. It is the rarest you would see on land because since it can't fly away when a predator finds it, it hide away in the bush. So that is why it is the rarest bird on land. It is sort of like a kiwi except, kiwis are nocturnal. They only come out at night.
Here are some photos of the day and the island down below. There are also photos of some birds. I hope you enjoy!!!!

I hope you enjoyed the photos. I really liked the trip. It was so much fun. It was also very cool to see birds that you wouldn't see in Auckland like The Bellbird and more.
Another thing you might want to know is that, one of the ladies on the island said that when you are 14 years old you can go and train to be a guide for free. Everything is free, even the Ferry Ride. I hope you enjoyed my work. Here is the link to the Tiritiri Matangi website, Click Here to see more.
Please feel free to leave a comment or some feedback for me!!! If you would like to see more of my work, keep in touch with my blog. I can't wait to see some of your work!
